Introducing the esteemed Palarasul kava cultivar, originating in Santo and exclusively found in the Center and South of the island. Renowned and cherished, Palarasul holds a special place on the local kava market.
Dubbed "Bir Sul" or "Yellow kava," Palarasul from Santo is renowned for its remarkable potency. It stands as one of the most robust kava varieties not only within Vanuatu but also globally.
Though Palarasul may be scarce in quantity, its value lies in its unparalleled quality. Often reserved for specific traditional occasions, local farmers cultivate limited Palarasul plants in their gardens.
Palarasul is an extraordinary, rare kava variety recognized for its exceptional standard. As a time-honored preparation, local consumers understand that indulging in this green and fresh kava might lead to slumber after a few servings.
This variety merges a smooth taste with an incredibly potent relaxing effect.
Effect: Swift, remarkably strong, and enduring.
Appearance: The key distinguishing feature of Palarasul is its yellow leaves, making it stand out even among other varieties. Stem colors transition as the kava matures – starting with a light green shade, akin to young kava, and evolving into a resemblance of Borogu stems once fully grown.
